Because behind the standardisation of rules, constraints and procedures, there is a single goal: to make Switzerland \u201dcompatible\u201c, \u201dequivalent\u201c, \u201dintegrable\u201c - in other words, to set it on the gentle slope towards integration with the EU.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember4683\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Federalism is not Swiss folklore. It is an architecture of freedom. The Constitution is clear: <strong>\u00abThe cantons are sovereign...\u00bb.\u00bb<\/strong> (art. 3). And yet, year after year, the same thing happens: <strong>harmonise<\/strong>, <strong>standardise<\/strong>, <strong>standardise<\/strong> - to the point of transforming the cantons into mere enforcement offices.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember4684\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">This movement is not neutral. It follows a very clear compass: <strong>gradual integration into the European Union's internal market<\/strong>, In other words, it's not a matter of formal adhesion, but of piling on \u201ccompatibilities\u201d and imposed \u201cupdates\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember4685\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">1) Federalism, officially sovereign... practically under trusteeship<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember4686\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The Confederation and the cantons themselves recognise that the division of tasks has become a tangle: a major \u201cdisentanglement\u201d project was relaunched in 2024, with a joint mandate from the Confederation and the cantons, proof that the machine has gone haywire. .<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember4687\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">In other words: <strong>we centralise<\/strong>, Then we're surprised that everything overlaps, then we create a project to \u201cclarify\u201d... while continuing to centralise elsewhere.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember4688\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">2) Internal harmonisation: the precedent that standardised everything<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember4689\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Even without Brussels, the technique is familiar: autonomy is proclaimed, then a \u201cminimum\u201d framework is set, which becomes the maximum.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember4690\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Case in point: <strong>tax harmonisation<\/strong>. The concordat <strong>HarmoS<\/strong> is aimed at\u2019<strong>harmonisation of compulsory education<\/strong>; It came into force in 2009 once the required threshold of cantons had been reached.
