It produces no real wealth, but redistributes poverty with mathematical precision to the benefit of a financial minority. This system is not in crisis. It is working exactly as planned.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>by <strong>Ludovic Malot,<\/strong> economist &amp; entrepreneur<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2026\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Wars, crises and pandemics are often blamed for impoverishing people. But this is not true.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2027\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>The most destructive weapon ever invented against the working classes is fiat currency.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2028\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">A currency created by decree, with no real roots, no natural limits, controlled by unelected central banks.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2029\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Since it replaced gold, <strong>it has enriched only a minority, while methodically ruining the majority<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember2030\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">1. History is clear: all fiat currencies end up at zero<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember2031\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">No exceptions. No exceptions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ancient Rome<\/strong> The denarius contained 95 % of silver under Caesar. A century later, it contained just 0.5 %. The result: economic collapse.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weimar (1923)<\/strong> Prices double every 48 hours. A loaf of bread went from 250 marks to 200 billion marks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zimbabwe (2008)<\/strong> official inflation of <strong>500 billion %<\/strong>. A ticket from <strong>100,000 billion<\/strong> of Zimbabwean dollars could not even buy a bus ticket.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venezuela<\/strong> Cumulative inflation of <strong>over 1,000,000 %<\/strong> in ten years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2033\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The rule is simple:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"ember2034\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__blockquote\"><p><strong>Any currency that can be created without limit ends up being destroyed without limit.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"ember2035\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">2. 1971: the day humanity switched to debt currency<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember2036\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">On 15 August 1971, Richard Nixon abolished the convertibility of the dollar into gold.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2037\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Since that day, <strong>all the world's currencies have become currencies of infinite debt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2038\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Impact in figures :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The dollar lost <strong>more than 98 % in purchasing power since 1971<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Swiss franc lost <strong>nearly 95 % of its real value against gold<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Global debt has risen from <strong>3,000 billion $ in 1971 to over 315,000 billion $ today<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2040\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Wealth has never increased so much.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2041\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Never before have people been so indebted.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember2042\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">3. Who really benefits from fiat currency?<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember2043\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Not to employees.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2044\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Not to pensioners.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2045\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Not to savers.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2046\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>It benefits just three categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Over-indebted States<\/strong>, These are people who no longer pay back their debts through work, but through invisible inflation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The banks<\/strong>, which create money out of thin air while charging real interest.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The ultra-rich<\/strong>, These are the investors who have access to assets prior to the monetary injection (equities, property, private equity).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=\"ember2048\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">This is what the economist Richard Cantillon called in the 18th century:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"ember2049\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__blockquote\"><p><strong>\u201cThe Cantillon effect: those who get the money first get richer, the last get poorer.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"ember2050\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Inflation is no accident.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2051\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>This is a tax that has not been voted on.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember2052\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">4. fiat currency destroys companies from within<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember2053\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">It mechanically causes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The explosion in housing prices<\/li>\n<li>The collapse of savings<\/li>\n<li>Dependence on credit<\/li>\n<li>The financialisation of the entire economy<\/li>\n<li>The total submission of governments to central banks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2055\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">When money dies, <strong>society is becoming more radical<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>political extremes,<\/li>\n<li>social conflicts,<\/li>\n<li>revolts,<\/li>\n<li>authoritarian regimes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2057\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">It's not a drift.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2058\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>This is an historic law.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember2059\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">5. Gold crosses empires<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the Roman Empire: gold remains.<\/li>\n<li>After the two world wars: gold remains.<\/li>\n<li>After Bretton Woods: gold stays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2061\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Since 1971:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gold went from <strong>35 $ to over 4,100 $ per ounce<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2063\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">As J.P. Morgan said:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"ember2064\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__blockquote\"><p><strong>\u00abGold is money. Everything else is credit.\u00bb<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"ember2065\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">Conclusion - fiat currency does not finance the economy: it organises legal looting<\/h3>\n<p id=\"ember2067\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">fiat currency is not a neutral tool.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2068\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">It is <strong>a one-way wealth transfer instrument<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2069\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">from the people to the holders of monetary power.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2070\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">It destroys :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>work,<\/li>\n<li>savings,<\/li>\n<li>sovereignty,<\/li>\n<li>stability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2072\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">And it enriches :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>insolvent countries,<\/li>\n<li>the major banks,<\/li>\n<li>globalised finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember2074\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>You can't fix a lying currency. You replace it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2075\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">History is clear:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"ember2076\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__blockquote\"><p><strong>Empires always fall after the death of their currency.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"ember2077\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The only question now is:<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember2078\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Will we prepare for the exit - or wait for the collapse?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ember2079\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udded Without funding, there can be no resistance.
